Welcome to St. Edward on
the Lake Catholic School
Welcome to St.
Edward School. Each and everyone of you is an important
member of our school family. You are valued. We hope when
you pass through our doors that you find yourself in a
different place, that our doors close out the crassness, the
cruelness, the coldness of the rest of society and that our
doors open to a world of faith, where children learn “to see
God in all things.” We will surround you with the signs,
prayers, and symbols of our faith - Jesus, the cross, the
saints. You will find pictures of our past and present
heroes - our four pastors, Father Hogan, Father Tom Esper,
Father Wallace and Father Joe.
We will do
things in certain ways, our traditions, like morning prayer,
like Friday Mass, like grace before meals. We will have our
birthday blessings, our Advent wreath, our food box for the
needy, and our service projects. This is who we are -- a
Catholic school.
